This is what I’ve been reading . . .

Late in November of 2016 I started reading Nick Hornby’s Ten Years in the Tub: A Decade Soaking in Great Books. Inspired by his project (writing a column) and his writing, I liked the idea of tracking my own reading over time. I’ve done that in lists, and on Goodreads, and Library Thing, and on an earlier version of this blog, among other places, but I wanted to take it a little deeper. So here it is. For the next 52 weeks I’ll post a bit about what I’ve read the previous month: what I’ve started, what I’ve finished, and what books I loved most. I started with my December books. (I’ll be posting things a little bit after the fact to give myself time to procrastinate, basically, because that’s the kind of person I am—a slightly organized procrastinator.)
